Do referral codes work if I already have an account?
Unfortunately no — major exchanges only attach referral discounts at registration. If you already have an account without a referral, you can create a new account with a fresh email to claim the discount, subject to the exchange's KYC rules.
Is using a referral code safe?
Absolutely. A referral code is just a tracking identifier — it does not give the referrer access to your account, funds, KYC data or trading activity. The exchange handles everything and pays a share of fees from its own revenue.
